Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

The role requires deep expertise in Oracle RAC, Exadata, OCI, database/infrastructure upgrades and patching, incident response, automation, capacity management, and production troubleshooting, including the ability to troubleshoot across the Exadata and OS layers.

What you'll do

• Design, operate, and continuously improve highly reliable and scalable infrastructure supporting Autonomous Database Serverless (ADBS)
• Execute end-to-end Exadata lifecycle management , including infrastructure upgrades, storage expansion, quarterly patching/QFSDP activities
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues across Exadata hardware, database, network, and OS layers , including incident response, root cause analysis
• Use Exadata capabilities and database performance techniques, including SQL tuning, Smart Scans, Storage Indexes, and Hybrid Columnar Compression (HCC)
• Develop and maintain automation using Shell scripting, Python, or Ansible for infrastructure provisioning, database operations, monitoring, remediation
