About the role

In this hands-on engineering role, you will design and build critical backend components for a disaster recovery control plane. You will work extensively with Java, RESTful APIs, VMware vSphere, and cloud platforms to deliver reliable and scalable software. Collaborating with backend and frontend developers, as well as QA specialists, you will help bring complex technical solutions from design through implementation and testing.

What you'll do

Design and implement major management components for disaster recovery control plane software
Develop, extend, and maintain RESTful APIs, as well as client-side code that integrates with other APIs and software development kits
Build and maintain backend software, including new features, enhancements, bug fixes, and proof-of-concept solutions
Develop complex orchestration capabilities to configure and manage VMware vSphere environments, including virtual machines, hosts, and clusters for disaster recovery
Collaborate with backend developers, frontend developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software within project timelines
