Senior Staff Engineer

About the role

A Senior staff electrical design engineering position in the R&D department with primary responsibilities to design, maintain or improve hardware for an existing medical product used in surgeries, requirement engineering and ideation for early stage concepts, hands-on proof of concept and prototype development along with mentoring team members and leading projects which may not be only limited to electrical engineering from a technical point of view.

What you'll do

• Lead a project and/or product line ups from technical point of view that may not be limited to electrical engineering
• Partner with product management, marketing and clinical stakeholders to translate customer needs and clinical requirements into system and electrical requirements during…
• Drive ideation and concept generation for new products and/or features, assessing technical feasibility and technology fit ahead of formal program commitment
• Support requirements engineering activities, including authoring and decomposing system-level requirements into electrical requirements and maintaining traceability…
• Contribute to technology scouting and early feasibility assessment for emerging sensing, energy-delivery

What you need
