Software Architect

About the role

We don’t need an architect who draws boxes and walks away. We need one who ships the design and carries the pager. We’re looking for a senior technical leader who thinks of production as the true test of any design and takes responsibility for the result.

What you'll do

• Own the architecture: Lead system design, API contracts, data modeling, security, scalability, observability, and cloud spend across our products
• Keep systems reliable: Be accountable for uptime, latency, and throughput as our user base grows
• Design for security from day one: Build safe handling of PHI and payment flows, with compliance built into the architecture rather than added later
• Drive cloud-native delivery: Run MERN-based platforms on AWS, GCP, or Azure with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and proper secrets management
• Make the hard calls: Decide between monolith and microservices, choose event-driven patterns, evaluate third-party integrations, and weigh build against buy
