Software Asset Management Analyst

About the role

Who will you be working with? You will work within Wabtec's Corporate Solutions organization as part of the Software Asset Management (SAM) function. You will partner closely with business requestors, application owners, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Finance, Accounts Payable, IT service management, cybersecurity, audit and compliance teams, and regional IT stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Own the end-to-end Software Request process managed in ServiceNow, from intake and validation through approvals, fulfillment, status of communication, and closure
• Administer software licensing and entitlement activities in Flexera, partnering with the Flexera platform team to improve data quality, inventory coverage, integrations
• Coordinate software purchasing activities in Coupa, including requisition creation, purchase order processing, receipt confirmation
• Lead operational execution of the SAM renewal process by maintaining the renewal calendar, confirming demand and ownership, validating license positions
• Maintain an accurate, usable software catalog and improve standardization by identifying duplicate, obsolete, unsupported, underused, or nonstrategic software products
