Software Development Engineer- EDA Simulation & Automation at Keysight Technologies. About the Role We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to design and build the next generation electromagnetic (EM) simulation, Thermal, Spice.

What you'll do

• Work on the software that powers full-wave EM solvers, Thermal simulation engines, Spice & Spectre simulators, layout-driven extraction flows
• This role sits at the intersection of computational electromagnetics, numerical methods, and large-scale software engineering
• Collaborate with EM research scientists, application engineers, and product managers to deliver robust, high-performance features used by RF, mmWave
• Develop and maintain tooling and utilities (parsers, comparators, validators) for technology stackups and simulation inputs to ensure correctness and reproducibility
• Build automation and data-processing pipelines: technology file conversion (iRCX/ITF → LTD), layout/GDS import, port/pin placement, simulation setup
