Software Engineer III – Data Platform and Analytics

About the role

You will join the Data Platform and Analytics team, which delivers secure, scalable data services that enable mission-critical insights for our customers. We work in an inclusive, collaborative environment using modern cloud-native technologies to solve complex data and distributed systems problems. As a Software Engineer III, you will design and build cloud-native data and analytics services that sit at the heart of Guidewire’s platform strategy.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and operate cloud-native data platform and analytics SaaS services that are secure, scalable, and reliable
• Build and maintain large-scale, real-time stream processing and data ingestion systems that power analytics, data science, and reporting for our customers
• Design, implement, and run microservices-based solutions using modern Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot, applying microservices and domain-driven design patterns
• Contribute to intuitive, performant user experiences using modern frontend technologies (React.js or Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for data and analytics workflows
• Own CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for your services, leveraging containers and Kubernetes to ensure fast, safe, and repeatable releases
