Sr. Design Evaluation Engineer

About the role

Analog Devices International is seeking an experienced Design Evaluation Engineer to join the Automotive Networking Evaluation team in Hyderabad , India . In this S enior technical role, you will lead the definition and execution of evaluation strategies for FPGA prototypes and automotive networking ASICs, from initial platform bring-up through system-level validation, characterisation, and release readiness.

What you'll do

• Execute comprehensive evaluation strategies, test plans, coverage goals, methodologies, and release criteria for FPGA prototypes and automotive networking ASICs
• Translate product, architecture, and system requirements into measurable laboratory tests, including functional, performance, interoperability, robustness
• Develop modular, maintainable test and automation software in C and Python, including instrument control, data acquisition, regression execution, result processing
• Execute and analyse complex silicon and FPGA test cases; debug failures across hardware, firmware, software, interfaces, and system boundaries
• Perform electrical and functional measurements using oscilloscopes, logic analysers, protocol analysers, signal generators, power supplies, and other laboratory equipment
