Sr Principal SW Development Engineer

About the role

You will define system architecture, work hands‑on with MCUs, RTOS, drivers, boot/OTA and security, and collaborate closely with hardware, architecture and manufacturing teams to ensure robust, compliant, and market‑ready products. Own end‑to‑end embedded architecture and solutions for optical pluggable devices, from requirements through release readiness.

What you'll do

• Define system architecture, work hands‑on with MCUs, RTOS, drivers, boot/OTA and security, and collaborate closely with hardware
• Own end‑to‑end embedded architecture and solutions for optical pluggable devices, from requirements through release readiness
• Define and implement system architecture across MCUs, RTOS/bare‑metal stacks, drivers, middleware, power management, boot/OTA and security features
• Partner with hardware, architecture and manufacturing teams to align schematics, analyze scope traces, and validate assumptions on real hardware
• Establish architecture standards, coding guidelines, HAL/BSP structures, reusable platform layers, and conduct design reviews

What you need

• 18–30 years in software engineering
• Embedded C
• B.Tech or B.E. or M.Tech
