About the role

Structural Analysis Engineer will be responsible for the stress & vibration analysis of the gas turbine components including compressors, turbines, shafts, bearing systems, and stationary structures within the turbojet and turbofan development programs. This role requires expert knowledge in mechanical design, integrity, gas turbine propulsion, planning for projects and ability to develop individuals.

What you'll do

Design and optimize the gas turbine systems for life, weight, manufacturability and cost
Carry out thermo-mechanical simulations at design, off-design and far off-design conditions to ensure safety and operability
Carry out creep, fatigue and fracture assessments
Carry out vibration and rotodynamic analysis
Carry out Stress Assessment, Low Cycle Fatigue and High Cycle Fatigue Assessments
