Structural Mechanics Engineer

About the role

Develop new or modify existing software/firmware tools required for structural and rotor dynamic analysis. Work independently or under partial/full technical guidance, depending on project requirements. Regularly communicate project status and progress updates to clients and other stakeholders. Travel domestically / internationally to customers, manufacturing, testing, and operational sites as required by project and customer needs

What you'll do

• Perform static and dynamic stress analysis of components and equipment subjected to pressure, thermal, wind, seismic, and other loadings using ANSYS
• Analyze rotor dynamic behavior using commercial software and/or in-house developed tools
• Perform analyses in accordance with applicable international codes, standards
• Recommend design modifications, improvements to design, and construction engineers based on analytical findings
• Develop new or modify existing software/firmware tools required for structural and rotor dynamic analysis

What you need

• 1–3 years in technicians & trades
• ANSYS
• Any graduate
