Technical Lead II – Full Stack (OpenBlue)

About the role

We're looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to drive development of OpenBlue, Johnson Controls' smart-building platform. This is a lead role with strong individual contribution. You'll own technical decisions, architecture and detailed design, and write production code alongside the team

What you'll do

• Drive end-to-end development of features, from design through to production
• Own technical decisions, architecture and detailed design for microservices, APIs and web applications
• Run proofs of concept (PoCs) to evaluate new technologies, approaches and solutions
• Contribute hands-on as an individual contributor, writing high-quality, well-tested code
• Set and uphold engineering standards through code reviews and best practices
