Yard Manager

About the role

The Yard Manager will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the yard operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, processing, inventory management, and dispatch of Tata Steel products.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage overall yard operations, including the receipt, storage, inventory management, processing, and dispatch of Tata Steel products
• Oversee Cut & Bend (C&B) operations to ensure quality, productivity, and timely order execution
• Plan, organize, and supervise day-to-day yard activities to ensure a smooth operational flow
• Manage and lead the yard workforce, including permanent employees, supervisors, operators, and contract labor
• Coordinate with Sales, Stores, Logistics, Finance, Procurement, and other departments to ensure efficient business operations

What you need

• 5–8 years in finance, audit & banking
• MIS reporting
• Reconciliation
• Excel
• Reporting
• Material handling
• Compensation and benefits
• B.Tech or B.E. or Diploma
