HighlistedBot
HighlistedBot reads public job openings from employers' own career pages and public notice boards, so job seekers in India can find them. Every job links back to where it was posted.
What it reads
- Public job listings your careers site or applicant tracking system already publishes, and their structured data (schema.org JobPosting).
- Nothing behind a login, no personal data, no form submissions. It never solves CAPTCHAs, rotates IP addresses or disguises itself.
What we keep
- For each job: its title, employer, places, pay, dates, the link to where it was posted and a short summary in our words, so people can find it and apply on your site.
- When a job is no longer on your site, we mark it closed and take it out of search. We never keep or show your site's pages themselves.
How often
A small board at most every half hour; large ones a few times a day. Requests to one host are spaced out, and it slows down at once when a server answers 429 or 503.
How to limit or stop it
- It obeys robots.txt. To stop it entirely: "User-agent: HighlistedBot" then "Disallow: /".
- Or use the form on our Support page (Stop HighlistedBot reading my site): we stop or slow it for your site within one working day and remove its jobs.
- To correct or remove a listing, use the same form or Report on the job's page.
