About the role
The Unit Head would be responsible for overseeing the complete manufacturing operations of the explosives and accessories plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production processes. The incumbent would drive operational excellence across manufacturing, maintenance, safety, manpower management, and statutory compliance while ensuring achievement of production and business targets.
What you'll do
- Responsible for operation and manufacturing of Explosives & Accessories, i.e., Electronic Detonator (ED), Detonator Fuse (DF), Slurry & Emulsion, HMX/RDX, TNT
- Schedule and Planning of breakdown, Preventive, Breakdown Maintenance, Availability, Manpower and root cause analysis
- Drive production planning, scheduling, and plant operational efficiency as per company protocols
- Ensure routine inspection and monitoring of key plant equipment and maintain required monthly checklists
- Compliance of Documentations as per Factories Act (1948), Boilers Act (2025) and Explosives Act (1884)
