About the role
The Civil Design Lead is responsible for leading the civil design efforts for water infrastructure projects, ensuring designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external consultants to deliver integrated, efficient, and cost-effective design solutions.
What you'll do
- Provide technical expertise in civil engineering aspects such as site development, structural design, and hydrology
- Review and approve all design deliverables, ensuring they meet project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, environmental) to ensure seamless integration of civil design with other project components
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as project managers, construction teams, and procurement to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines
- Facilitate communication between design and execution teams, addressing any design-related issues during construction
