Deputy General Manager - Land Acquisition & RR

About the role

Responsible for leading all aspects of land procurement, rehabilitation, and resettlement activities at site projects. This role involves managing the budget for forest diversion, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, and maintaining stakeholder relations, while also focusing on documentation, reporting, and the smooth transition of project-affected individuals.

What you'll do

• Manage the budget for forest diversion processes in cordination with the project team
• Maintain land records and ensure compliance with R&R policies and regulations
• Liaise with forest and revenue officials for land survey, registration, mutation of land records, and other statutory clearances
• Handle legal and court matters related to title verification of land, lease settlement of government land, and compensatory afforestation
• Review Necessary Forest Area (NFA) documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
