About the role
Civil and structures lead is responsible for overseeing civil maintenance activities through coordination with vendors for project execution and providing guidance for continuous improvement. The civil and structure lead is also responsible for managing material procurement and quality control to support civil works projects, optimizing resources and budget allocations.
What you'll do
- Facilitate the drain arrangement in yard area (In-Plant Yard, Shivnagar Yard, Tarkeshwarpur Yard and Sonpur Yard)
- Implement maintenance programs for station facilities, including lighting, signage, seating, etc., to enhance operational efficiency
- Monitor vendor performance regularly, including adherence to schedules, quality of work, and compliance with safety standards and contractual obligations
- Provide feedback and guidance to vendors to address performance issues and drive continuous improvement in service delivery and project outcomes
- Conduct site inspections and quality audits to verify compliance with project plans, drawings, and specifications, and identify any deviations or deficiencies
