About the role
The role is responsible for overseeing and managing all civil construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. This role involves leading a team of engineers and contractors, conducting site inspections, and coordinating with various stakeholders to achieve project objectives efficiently and effectively.
What you'll do
- Provide technical guidance and advice to design staff, supervisors, inspectors, and contractors regarding civil construction practices
- Analyze civil engineering issues and formulate effective solutions to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Prepare and check detailed structural calculations and review drawings in line with project quality procedures
- Develop and review detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates for civil construction projects
- Draft and issue site/engineer’s instructions related to civil construction works as required
