About the role
The role is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction work in accordance with project-specific cost and schedule requirements. This role involves managing MEP contractors, providing technical guidance, and ensuring compliance with design and safety standards.
What you'll do
- Provide technical advice to design staff, supervisors, inspectors, and contractors regarding installation and maintenance of MEP systems
- Analyze mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering problems and formulate effective solutions
- Prepare detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates for plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and general piping systems
- Draft and issue site/engineer’s instructions related to mechanical services as required
- Review and comment on contractor’s Operation and Maintenance manuals to ensure comprehensive documentation
