About the role
Assist sales team in terms of finalising tool cost by deriving tool layout, Shot size, Mould type & Feed system type. Develop conceptual design & layout in alignment with customer specification for down level designers and drafts men. Develope 3D design & complete activity in shorter lead time. Organise and conduct tool design review with cross functional team of tool room and initiate tool manufacturing process.
What you'll do
- Evaluate supplied part data for tool design & manufacturing feasibility
- Analyse given part data and prepare DFM and liaise with project team to get customer approval
- Assist sales team in terms of finalising tool cost by deriving tool layout, Shot size, Mould type & Feed system type
- Develop conceptual design & layout in alignment with customer specification for down level designers and drafts men
