About the role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join AMETEK’s Advanced Motion Solutions Division. The role will support multiple business units in this division for development of a wide range of electromechanical products including Motors, Actuators, Control Valves. The ideal candidate should possess good exposure of the Electro-mechanical Products.
What you'll do
- Act as the engineering focal point between US Engineering, India Supply Chain, and Suppliers
- Provide supplier engineering support by conducting DFM reviews, supporting First Article Inspection (FAI) activities, and implementing engineering changes
- Coordinate with Suppliers for design clarifications, manufacturability, reviews, and technical issue resolution
- Support Engineering Change Orders (ECO/ECN) implementation and product transition activities
- Drive localization and cost-reduction initiatives through Supplier engagement and technical evaluations
