About the role
The purpose of the position is to utilize knowledge to develop innovative, technically sound and cost-efficient packaging solutions for new motive battery charger electronics. The individual is an energetic professional who can work both individually and with a team.
What you'll do
- Design packages and enclosures ( Sheet metal ) for power electronic circuits. Support the product line from concept to production
- Create manufacturing documentation ( Complete Pre-Quote and Final design packets including Fixture & Tooling designs
- Analyze methods and suppliers for cost reductions on assemblies and equipment
- Document designs so they can be adequately manufactured within the time and budget targets
- Coordinate prototype build; re-asses manufacturing options
