About the role
The Senior ITS Operations & Maintenance Specialist will lead the supervision and performance monitoring of the Contractor’s operations, maintenance and training activities for the Chennai Traffic Information System, City Bus System and Traffic Management System. The role will support the Client through independent review of system performance, maintenance compliance, service levels, incidents, corrective actions, training and management reporting.
What you'll do
- Supervise the Contractor’s O&M and training activities for the Chennai Traffic Information System, City Bus System and Traffic Management System
- Monitor Contractor performance and verify compliance with the Contract, approved O&M manuals, maintenance schedules and applicable SLAs/KPIs
- Review preventive, routine, corrective and emergency maintenance activities and recommend corrective actions for delays, repeated failures or non-compliance
- Monitor system availability, uptime, incident response, restoration time, repeat failures and backlog of unresolved issues
- Review major incident reports and Root Cause Analysis reports, and track corrective and preventive actions through closure
