About the role
The Product Costing Specialist conducts inventory analysis and delivers actionable insights to help business units mitigate significant product-cost impacts.
What you'll do
- Perform monthly inventory valuation at standard cost and actual cost in accordance with the month-end closing schedule
- Analyze monthly variances involving actual cost, standard cost, and production orders
- Support the definition and maintenance of the annual operating plan, including fixed production costs and variable rates
- Calculate and record provisions for slow-moving inventory, net realizable value, and/or replacement price in accordance with the closing schedule and GAIN methodology
- Communicate process deliverables and ensure stakeholders remain informed of progress, issues, and resolutions
