Senior Consultant - Legal

About the role

We are seeking a qualified legal professional to join the legal team of a global engineering and professional services firm. This role will primarily support the review, negotiation, and management of construction industry contracts across Australia. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrate sound independent judgment.

What you'll do

• Review a broad range of construction and consultancy contracts, subcontracts, and associated legal documents
• Provide clear, concise advice on contractual risks and obligations, and engage with internal stakeholders to discuss and resolve issues
• Lead and support contract negotiations with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, clients, and external legal counsel
• Support the business in achieving commercially sound outcomes while managing legal risk
