What you'll do
- Design and develop air-cooled heat exchangers based on project requirements, client specifications, and industry standards
- Develop and review detailed 3D models and 2D engineering drawings with correct GD&T
- Execute mechanical design calculations for components (tube thickness, header design, vibration analysis, thermal stresses)
- Review and interpret process data sheets, PFDs/P&IDs, and client design parameters
- Coordinate with process engineers on thermal requirements, air-side heat transfer, and optimization of exchanger configuration
