About the role
We are seeking an engineer to support new product introduction and manufacturing support efforts across or external manufacturing sites. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with design, product engineering, quality, and supplier teams to ensure product data integrity and that the products meet performance, reliability, and safety standards.
What you'll do
- Drive PDM release of all required product data such as drawings, BOM, and AVL
- Support ECO/ECR implementation and change alignment
- Drive DFM with external manufacturers and coordinate change management
- Drive and track sample builds, qualification test plans, and qualification activities with suppliers
- Ensure qualification reporting-to-standards and collaborate with product engineering for product approvals
