About the role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Migration Specialist with strong Python expertise and proven experience in migrating data across ITSM platforms , particularly ServiceNow . This role will lead end-to-end data migration initiatives, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and seamless transition while managing stakeholders and technical teams.
What you'll do
- Lead and oversee end-to-end data migration projects from legacy ITSM tools to modern platforms (preferably ServiceNow)
- Define data migration strategy, approach, and governance framework
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (developers, analysts, platform SMEs) to execute migration programs
- Design and implement data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) pipelines using Python
- Build reusable scripts and automation frameworks for data validation, reconciliation, and error handling
