About the role
The System Engineer supports the definition, integration, and delivery of complex metro systems, ensuring that technical requirements, interfaces, and system performance are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle. The role combines systems engineering, requirements and interface management, technical coordination, verification and validation, and multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure safe, compliant, and integrated system delivery.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain the System Assurance / RAMS Plan and associated framework, defining assurance activities, responsibilities, deliverables, reviews
- Define, manage and demonstrate RAMS requirements and targets across the lifecycle, including reliability, availability, maintainability and safety objectives
- Perform reliability and availability analyses and demonstrations using appropriate methods such as Reliability Block Diagrams, failure-rate/MTBF calculations
- Undertake FMEA/FMECA and support maintainability and maintenance-related assessments to identify critical failure modes
- Lead or facilitate hazard identification and risk assessment activities including PHA, HAZID, HAZOP, SHA/SSHA, interface hazard analysis and operational hazard analysis
