About the role
The Assistant Manager – Production Planning & Control (PPC) & Order Handling is responsible for managing and integrating production planning and customer order handling processes to ensure on-time delivery, accurate order fulfillment, and optimal utilization of resources. The role ensures seamless coordination between order receipt, production planning, execution, and dispatch while driving adherence to IMS standards and business objectives.
What you'll do
- Lead, mentor, and guide PPC & Order Handling team members
- Participate & contribute in global network meetings for improvements
- Guiding the team - Plan, schedule, release and monitor production orders in SAP aligned to customer delivery commitments
- Track WIP, backlog and ensure adherence to production plan
- Participate in daily production meetings and drive action on deviations
