About the role
You’ll be working with the product and engineering team. This team runs on coffee with an infectious passion to build products that have never been built before. Break. Believe. Build. We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with 8+ years experience to own and deliver products that enable the flexible energy stack of Exponent.
What you'll do
- Contribute actively towards project and program planning - including but not limited to budgets, resources, timelines, tooling etc
- Reviewing conceptual designs, theoretical calculations, and tolerance stack analyses
- Developing and executing test plans to validate subsystems and full product performance
- Conducting root cause analyses (RCAs) for issues during testing and field deployment
- Collaborating with manufacturers, assembly teams, and mold designers to refine designs based on feedback
