About the role
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with 5+ years' to develop sheet metal components (e.g., enclosures, electrical panels) and optimize packaging for the e^pump. You will drive structural and thermal designs that are efficient, cost-effective, and manufacturable while meeting safety and performance requirements.
What you'll do
- Designing for weight, volume, thermal performance, and IP sealing while ensuring serviceability and manufacturability (DFM/DFA)
- Performing conceptual designs, theoretical calculations, and tolerance stack analyses
- Developing and executing test plans to validate subsystems and full product performance
- Conducting root cause analyses (RCAs) for issues during testing and field deployment
- Collaborating with manufacturers, assembly teams, and mold designers to refine designs based on feedback
