About the role
The AR Caller is responsible for managing and resolving outstanding medical insurance claims to ensure timely reimbursement from US payers. This role involves proactive insurance follow‑ups, denial analysis, underpayment resolution, and claim status verification while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA and US healthcare billing guidelines.
What you'll do
- Analyze EOBs, remittance advice, and payer responses to identify denials, underpayments, and rejections
- Investigate and resolve claim denials , including eligibility, coding, authorization, and timely filing issues
- Work on appeals and reconsiderations as per payer guidelines
- Ensure timely resolution of aging AR buckets to reduce AR days and improve cash flow
- Document all follow‑up actions and claim status updates accurately in billing systems
