About the role
The Applications Engineering Lead provides day-to-day technical and people leadership for the Applications Development team. The role is accountable for translating prioritised business demand into well-designed, tested, documented and supportable solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform and connected Microsoft 365 services.
What you'll do
- Team leadership and capability
- Lead, coach and develop Applications Developers, setting clear objectives, delivery expectations and professional standards
- Plan team capacity, allocate work and create an environment of accountability, collaboration, knowledge-sharing and continuous learning
- Support recruitment, onboarding, performance development and succession planning across the team
- Lead the design, build, enhancement and support of Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate solutions, Dataverse components and Power BI reporting
