About the role
The End User Computing Lead Architect will be responsible for defining the global vision and strategy and developing a future roadmap in alignment with the General Mills & D&T objectives. Encourage and help facilitate the adoption of new ways of working in End Point Computing. As a trusted advisor for the business, Lead Architect works closely with the operations manager and other members of the delivery team.
What you'll do
- Architect, Design and Evaluate blueprint for Microsoft SCCM, OSD Imaging, Application packaging & deployment
- Partner with stakeholders to define Roadmap and Strategies around various EUC technologies
- Designing complex EUC solutions, leading work-streams on transformational programs and ensuring conformance to agreed design standards, methods, and tools
- Shaping EUC technical proposals whilst making solution/service trade-offs where appropriate and providing support to our operations team
- Establish Windows patch management strategies & guidelines in partnership with stakeholders
