About the role

Honeywell is seeking an accomplished Senior Systems Engineering Manager to drive leadership and advancement within our Aerospace Lighting Systems business. This pivotal role is responsible for defining technical strategies, inspiring innovation, and executing excellence throughout the entire product lifecycle—from concept and proposal through system delivery and support.

• Develop a compelling vision for the Lighting Systems COE, providing clear communication to align diverse and experienced team members
• Build differentiated capabilities (current and future) and capacity aligned to long-term global strategic frameworks and annual plans
• Leverage the local ecosystem for speed and complementary capabilities (universities, suppliers, startups)
• Drive a culture of business-driven innovation to build a strong pipeline of market- and customer-backed, technology-forward offerings
• Work actively with cross-functional teams (strategy, marketing, product management) in the front-end innovation process (opportunity pipeline
