About the role
The Senior Material Engineer will be r esponsible for developing and implementing strategies related to selection, processing a wide range of products and raw materials. Independently studies structures and chemical properties of various materials required by R&D to enhance existing products. Identifies and solves problems related to performance or selection of materials, including failure analysis.

- Identifies critical variations in parts specifications between multiple suppliers, which would limit interchangeability
