What you'll do
- Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and bill of material
- Design electrical control panels in accordance with project specifications, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards
- Create and maintain engineering documentation including wiring schedules, termination drawings, cable schedules, and as-built packages
- Select electrical and control components including PLCs, VFDs, relays, transformers, circuit protection devices, instrumentation, and communication hardware
- Review designs to ensure safety, reliability, serviceability, and manufacturability
