About the role
The Assistant Manager – EHS is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining corporate environmental, health, and safety standards across operations. This role involves identifying workplace hazards, ensuring 100% statutory and regulatory compliance, conducting safety audits, and driving a proactive safety culture among employees and vendor partners.
What you'll do
- Safety Operations & Hazard Management
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments (HIRA - Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment) to eliminate workplace hazards
- Oversee high-risk works via the Permit to Work (PTW) system, ensuring strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and hot work protocols
- Investigate all incidents, near-misses, and accidents , determining root causes and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
