Design Engineer at Koch. We are seeking a proficient and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with strong expertise in CAD tools such as Siemens NX and PLM Teamcenter.
What you'll do
- This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and high-quality product designs
- Utilize Siemens NX to create detailed 3D models, sheet metal components, and assemblies, ensuring accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with design standards
- Design and develop sheet metal parts and products , including enclosures, brackets, panels, and welded assemblies, considering forming, bending, punching
- Collaborate with supervisors and cross-functional teams to interpret technical requirements and customer needs, translating them into optimized 3D models, flat patterns
- Apply sheet metal design principles such as bend allowances, K-factor, reliefs, tolerances, and GD&T to ensure proper fit, form, and function
