About the role
The Deputy Manager – Manufacturing Engineering (ME) will be responsible for driving excellence across all manufacturing processes within the Nashik Plant. The role combines hands‑on technical leadership, process validation, continuous improvement, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective production of electrical and digital systems.
What you'll do
- Responsible for driving excellence across all manufacturing processes within the Nashik Plant
- Oversee sheet metal fabrication, CNC turret punching/bending, power press, and spot welding operations
- Manage CO2/MIG welding, powder coating, pretreatment, and busbar processes including ALU/CU cutting, bending, and punching
- Lead tin plating, welding, painting, and other special process set‑up, control, and validation
- Drive assembly automation projects and implement Kaizen and cost‑saving initiatives
