About the role
The position requires a Infrastructural Linux server administrator to provide MetLife business customers with best-in-class support services. We are seeking a senior level distributed Linux Server Administrator with strong knowledge of REDHAT products and Linux infra.
What you'll do
- Install, configure, administer, and support enterprise Linux environments (RHEL, CentOS, Linux, Ubuntu)
- Plan and execute end-to-end RHEL version upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime
- Perform server provisioning, patch management, system hardening, and lifecycle management
- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation workflows for infrastructure management
- Automate routine operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
