About the role
A successful GM- Procurement should have: 20-25 years of experience in manufacturing procurement environments. Proven track record of supporting manufacturing operations through effective procurement execution. Experience managing large supplier ecosystems and driving supplier performance. Demonstrated capability in vendor development, alternate sourcing and risk management.
What you'll do
- Lead procurement operations driving uninterrupted manufacturing performance
- Ensure uninterrupted availability of raw materials, consumables and bought-out components
- Lead plant procurement activities aligned with production and fulfilment requirements
- Manage and develop a large supplier network while driving delivery, quality and cost performance
- Monitor inventory levels and implement replenishment strategies to balance service levels and working capital
