About the role
A successful Head of Accounting should have: A professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, or equivalent. Experience working within the energy, industrial and manufacturing sector. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
What you'll do
- Lead the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with applicable regulations
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and treasury
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain financial integrity
- Act as a key Finance stakeholder in Group transformation initiatives
- Review of monthly MIS & presentation to senior management
