About the role
Plan and execute upgrades of Kubernetes platform components in line with approved release schedules and maintenance windows. Assess dependencies, validate backups and rollback procedures, and test upgrades in lower environments before production deployment. Monitor post-upgrade platform health, resolve issues, document outcomes, and coordinate with application, security, and operations teams to maintain service stability.
What you'll do

- Monitor post-upgrade platform health, resolve issues, document outcomes, and coordinate with application, security, and operations teams to maintain service stability
- Design and develop Python-based automation to orchestrate periodic upgrades of Kubernetes clusters and platform components
- Build reusable workflows with pre-upgrade checks, dependency validation, testing, approvals, logging, and automated rollback capabilities
