About the role
Complete post-patch technical validation, including service status, process checks, connectivity, logs, monitoring signals, scheduled jobs, interfaces and application smoke tests. Raise and maintain change records with scope, risk, impact, implementation plan, validation plan, back-out plan and supporting approvals.
What you'll do
- Coordinate readiness with application owners, engineering, infrastructure, cyber/security, service management and relevant support teams
- Execute changes across development, test, UAT and production environments in the approved sequence, following runbooks and segregation-of-duties requirements
- Participate in planned evening or weekend change windows and the team on-call rota where required
- Engage business or application testers for functional confirmation where required and record deployment outcomes, incidents, defects and residual risks
- Monitor platform health after implementation and respond to patch-related events or incidents through the defined support process
