About the role
As a Technical Leader – Mechanical Component, you will lead the technical execution of design engineering work for Compressor Airfoil components. The role owns delivery across New Product Introduction (NPI), Product cost management (PCM), Fleet, Repair support, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), ensuring solutions meet expectations for safety, quality, reliability, manufacturability, cost, and schedule.
What you'll do
- Lead the technical execution of design engineering work for Compressor Airfoil components
- Own end-to-end execution and delivery of assigned Compressor Airfoil Components work, aligned to business and engineering priorities
- Coordinate execution through the applicable stages of the product lifecycle, ensuring technical readiness, alignment, and timely closure at each phase
- Prepare for and lead or support technical reviews with Controlled Title Holders (CTHs) , ensuring review readiness and timely closure of actions
- Guide engineers on daily execution needs, technical priorities, and expected deliverables
