About the role
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Power Transformer Mechanical Designer having experience of 3-5 years to join our team at our factory location. The ideal candidate will have experience in the mechanical design of power transformers, including internal connections design, internal layouts, tank and external designs, and customer-specific drawings.
What you'll do
- Design and develop mechanical components for power transformers, including internal connections, internal layouts, and tank/external designs
- Create detailed customer-specific drawings as per requirements and specifications
- Work closely with the electrical engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility, quality, and timely delivery
- Ensure that designs adhere to national and international such as IS, CEA, IEC, IEEE , ISO and any applicable regulatory or industry-specific guidelines
- Use 3D CAD tools (primarily Inventor and Creo ) to create accurate and efficient mechanical designs
