About the role

Within the GE VERNOVA, the Hydro market is expected to grow in the comings years especially in the medium/small, service and PSP markets. Hydro has today a global industrial footprint in Europe, India, North-America and Latin America. The addition of Hydro will complement the existing GEV energy portfolio.

What you'll do

• Execute and validate the critical hydro components of the project based on finite element analysis approach
• At times it will be required to perform a fracture mechanics calculations as well
• Perform the FEA postprocessing of base material and welds consistent with standards applicable to hydro like ASME , FKM , Eurocode etc
• Deliver high quality calculation output in defined timeline and budget
• Provides strong technical support to the Business Units for their daily business (technical reports)
